I am so excited to bring you a diverse group of talented designers to inspire you each month!  I love each of their unique styles and know you will too.  I hope you enjoy  getting to know each of them a little bit better!

Greta Hammond

greta

Greta is one amazing scrapbooker.  Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to see her work  in numerous articles  while working at Scrapbooks Etc. Magazine. I finally got to “meet” her ( I had been stalking her for a while) at CHA this past summer and was so delighted to find out she is just as fabulous and genuine as her work!  I think her unique style is a great addition to our team. Greta began scrapbooking over six years ago after the birth of her son. She needed an outlet after deciding to be a stay-at-home mama and scrapbooking proved to be that and so much more. She has since embraced the hobby as both a creative outlet and a vehicle to record her families memories. Greta has shared her passion for scrapbooking by teaching at her local scrapbook stores and has also had the privilege to work with a number of manufacturers in the industry. She currently designs for Scenic Route, Fancy Pants and Provo Craft. She was thrilled to have been inducted into the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2006 and currently, her work can be seen in many magazine publications including BHG, Creating Keepsakes and many more! . She resides with her husband and two children in Northern Indiana. They have been the subject of thousands of photographs and are the main inspiration for her pages.
Valerie Salmonvalerie

I had the pleasure of working with Valerie on some assignments while working at Scrapbooks etc magazine. She is so talented and has such an eye for design.  Her style is so refreshing and so is her sweet personality! Valerie is a former footwear designer  (so cool!).. and got hooked on the scrapbooking hobby in 2000. She had her first worked published in 2002! Since then, hundreds of her works have appeared in the most popular scrapbook magazines and in several idea books. She has been involved with various manufacturer design teams; with work ranging from creating artwork for product packaging, to tradeshow exhibits, catalogs, class projects, publications, and QVC & HSN television network features. She also conducts scrapbooking and paper-crafting classes. Valerie currently works in the BHG Scrapbooks Etc. magazine design team as well as Fiskars Design team. She has also won several contests for other magazines in our industry. WOW this girl has been busy, but her work speaks for itself!  She also enjoys photography and also hosts a "blog" sketch, where you can go to get creative sketches for scrapbooking as well. She also loves movies, watching TV and spending time with her family, her children and husband. (Oh and don't forget their two dogs!)

May Flaum

What do polka dots, damask, buttons, and kraft cardstock have in common? They're all items that May Flaum considers scrapbooking essentials. A California native who's been crafting since childhood, she never expected life to turn her hobby into a career path but she's thankful every day that it did. May is the co-author of Paper + Pixels: Scrapbook Layouts and has been published in numerous books and magazines as well. When she's not playing with a Scarlet Lime kit in her studio you can find her over at www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com teaching classes, coordinating the content at www.fiskarscrafts.com, or working on craft projects just for fun. May's known for her no rules (except that you have a good time) crafting approach and will try any idea or technique once.

Aside from crafting, books with a happily ever after, baking, mysteries, fabulous old musicals, the music of Harry Connick Jr, long Chamomile tea on a rainy day, dogs, Disneyland, cute shoes, being a mom of two daughters, and wife of a firefighter are among May's greatest pleasures in life. You can find her sharing stories, adventures, and new loves at her blog.

Emeline Seet

I am from Singapore. a tiny red dot on the world map. A full time mommy to 2 kids (a girl and a boy) and a part time scrapbooker. I got hooked on this craft almost 4 years ago after the birth of our first born.
I had tones of pictures of her and our new family. Looking at them in albums just wasn't enough for me. I chanced upon a local supply store and became addicted to this craft. I am passionate about scrapbooking, papercrafting and card making and would describe my style as modern vintage and Scarlet Lime kits SO speak to me :)
Besides my love for paper and glue, i love music and bargain hunting.

2006 has to be my turning point. That was the very lucky first time i got selected to be part of a manufacturer. Being surrounded with such talents from around the world, it pushed me to improve my craft and i am happy to be where i am today. Being in print in US scrapbooking/ papercraft magazines and French/Australian's scrapbooking magazines are also blessed bonus. 2009 was another milestone for that was when i was a Runner Up in the Memory Makers Masters Contest. I am thankful for this craft and for the people i meet through this amazing journey. It is such a privilege to be part of Scarlet Lime !
