Welcome to the Scarlet Lime Newsletter

 

October as many of you know is my favorite month (probably because my birthday is in October! LOL).. but actually even  more than anything, I love the season and all that comes with it!  I was so inspired with what our Artist team did with the October kit this month, and hopefully you were too! It made me want to get out my warm slippers, drink a cup of hot cocoa and go to down scrapbooking.. I just LOVE this season!

 I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you for everyone's patience in getting October  kits off just a few days late, due to our family vacation to first time ever trip to Disneyland! It was such an amazing experience.. and we had a WONDERFUL time. It's something we will never forget! Many of you have e-mailed asking when I would post pictures on my blog of our trip! So I thought I would post some here.. but I do plan on posting some on my personal blog as well as some of our fun experiences as well, later this week, so watch for that. But for now, here are just a few of the hundreds of photos we took! Thanks again for your patience :)...

We have fun things in store for this newsletter! We have another Sketch from Sonda, some fun inspiration from one of our Artist Janna as well as inspiration from some of our SL customers! We also have peeks of what's in store for November.. AND a prize giveaway from Hero Arts and more!

Also some IMPORTANT news  for November: most of you already know this, but Ben and I were invited to attend a Scrap Pink event in South Africa, in November, sponsored by Cannon, where all the proceeds of this event will go to a breast cancer fun in South Africa. We have a strong passion for fighting this disease and are excited about donating our time and efforts to make this event a success! Because we will be leaving on the 4th of November and normally our kits ship out on the 10th of  November, we will only be debuting one kit for November, which is our main kit. We will not have any add-on kits for November. All kits that are paid for on or before the 1st, will be mailed out before we leave for South Africa on the 4th. Any orders or payments that come in after the 1st, won't be mailed until we return on the 18th.  In order to give those of you who aren't subscribers,  a few days to view our November kit we will be debuting our website on the 28th of October, instead of the 1st of November as normal. Kits will go live at 8:00 pm MST on the 28th. If you aren't currently a subscriber and would like to be one, you can pre-order for a November sub now. Info on that is below. . If you would like to purchase a one time kit for November, those will be available on our website on the night of the 28th, when our kits and gallery will go live. . so make sure you mark your calendars for that early release!  We have a lot of fun things in store for November's main kit, including all exclusive papers from the Scarlet Lime! October Card SKETCHES!

This month,   Cassonda Tadlock has created not ONE, but two wonderful sketches! She did one using our September main kit and one using our September project kit!  Thanks girl for these! How FUN!.

Here is the second Card Sketch that Sonda did for us. This sketch was done using the October project kit. I love how simple and versatile it could be. We wanted to let you know that we have added Janna Wilson's layouts to our Gallery! She did some FUN things with the kits this month! Here are just a few of the layouts she did! Anat Dvir Sent me these photos of a fun layout and cute box she created with some of our past kits! Anat is from Israel and has been receiving our kits since June with a group of friends!  Thank so much for the fun inspirations and creative ideas on how to use SL kits! YOU ROCK!

 

 

 

 

 

I love hearing about what's going on with our Scarlet Lime Customers and one of them, Catherine Piehl, from Japan, held a Scarlet Lime Crop in September and sent pictures of their fun event! They had 20 people attend the crop and had fun creating with Septembers main kit! They already have their next crop scheduled for November!  I only wish I could be there!  I wanted to share with you a photo of their group and some of the layouts they did using the kit! Thanks Catherine and all of you wonderful gals from Japan! We love you ! :)
 

 

 

Elisha Wiggins sent me these photos of the banner she created using the September Project kit! It's so fun to how everyone used this kit! and it looks so great across her mantel!  What a fun photo memory for her family.. thanks girl for sharing!
