October
is finally here! Why do I say finally? Because I wait all year
long for this month.. it's my Birthday month and it's also
host of one of my most FAVORITE holidays.. Halloween! In our
October Newsletter we have some exciting things to share with
you! Inspiration of course form our members gallery, but we
ALSO have some awesome tutorials from two of our newest artist
team members, Dena and Kimberly! They will be showing you some
fun ways to use the items in your October kits (and Kimberly
is a debuting our first ever Scarlet Lime VIDEO!) So exciting!
I also created a mini album using the October main kit, and I
have created a short tutorial on how to complete that as
well.. AND.. speaking of Artist Team Members.. we are SO
excited to announce another addition to our Artist Team..
Emeline Seet all the way from Singapore! She has already got
started by doing some layouts for our newsletter this month!
How Fun! Plus of course we have peaks of November AND a
giveaway full of brand new products from CHA summer!

Member Gallery Inspiration!
Each month as
you know we feature layouts
from our Members gallery in our newsletter! It's a great place to
get inspiration from fellow subscribers on how to use your kits!

This month
while browsing the wonderful gallery of all of our awesome Scarlet
Lime Customers.. white really seemed to catch my eye! I love the
clean and simply look a white background offered, so I found two
layouts that looked simple yet made a huge impact with design
and use of color. This first layout was done by
Rimna and features bold prints
on the white background. She also utilized the "three" rule by
creating groupings with the flowers and other items included in the
May Project kit. Love the stitching around the layout as well..
Super fun!
Our next layout really truly does make a statement!
AmandaD
created this simple yet soft and elegant layout using the
July kit. I love how she cut the butterfly out of one of
papers and used it to create a background to the white
cardstock. The simple journaling helps creates a clean feel
as well. This is one of my favorite layouts.. it makes me so
happy!

As
many of you know, we added three new girls to our Artist
Team on October 1st.. and now we have added one more
FABULOUS gal to our group as well!
Emeline Seet is all the
way from Singapore and has such a unique eclectic style! I
love the way she mixed her patterned papers and utilizes all
of the goodies in her kit. I can't wait for you to see what
she has in store for November and get to know her better, but until then, here is her
debut using our October main kit! Welcome girl!

Ashley Rubon Tutorial
The
rubons we included in our October kit, are just a little bit
different then any thing we done before.. they are soft and
velvet and also a bit different to use than normal rubons.
We thought it would be great to show you a tutorial on how
to use them!
Dena
Coe, has done a wonderful step by step tutorial on using the
rubons and created this adorable card as well!
We are
SO excited to have our very first ever Scarlet Lime Video!
Kimberly created this adorable layout using the October kit
and she used a masking technique along with Shimmer
Spray, to get the swirl affect on the right-hand side
of the page. In this Tutorial she shows you different ways
to mask and the easiest way to do it without the mess!

including in our November Main kit? I'll give you a

know I am a sucker for bold vibrant colors but I also love

Christmas already? I know I know! But for the past two
years we have always done our Christmas Project kit for
one of our December kits. Kits ship on the 10th, and with
the "slow" shipping from the Holidays.. it seems like most
of you weren't getting your kits until mid December. That
doesn't leave much time to create and enjoy your wonderful
projects! So this year we are giving you a head start on
your Christmas project, but offering it as our November
project kit! This kit is full of festive goodies..

October Newsletter Giveaway!
So as many of you know, we recently made the trip to Orlando for CHA
where all the manufactures debut their new product lines for the coming
season. Well one thing I LOVE about CHA is all the wonderful gift packs
and samples we are given.. but I always come home and never know
quite what to do with all the product! Soo.. I thought how fun it
would be to make it our monthly giveaway for October! This is just a
